Excellent video quality; articulating display with generally good touchscreen interface; variable frame-rate movie mode.
Annoying AVCHD-imposed limitations for video; no way to lock AF area on touch screen; middling battery life.
Despite the new 16.05-million-pixel sensor, it is the new high-speed, contrast-detection AF and video capabilities of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 that really make it stand out from its competitors. The superb EVF should allay the scepticism of those who h...

Annoying AVCHD-imposed limitations for video, no way to lock AF area on touch screen, middling battery life
It's speedy, feature-packed, and an excellent ILC for shooting video, but to consistently get really good photos out of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 requires shooting raw.
High quality movies with continuous and quiet AF, Good quality stills - best from Micro Four Thirds to date, Very fast autofocus for stills and movies, Articulated, high res touch-screen display and superb finder, Small and light, but good ergonomics and customisation.
Slow continuous shooting when continuous AF is enabled, Live view not available during continuous bursts above 3fps, Noisier images than good APS-C models at high sensitivities, Traditional DSLRs better for low light or fast action photography.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 delivers one of the most satisfying and uncompromised experiences from a hybrid camera to date. Still photo quality is as the best we've seen from the Micro Four Thirds standard and keeps-up with APS-C sensors at low to mid...
Incredibly fast autofocus, impressive image quality to ISO 1600
2.5mm mic port, on the expensive side, plasticy exterior
The GH2 has the best contrast detection autofocus system of any camera available on the market. Great movie options and a touchscreen LCD are certainly high points, but a plasticy-feeling build quality and relatively high price point may keep it from u...
Photo quality fails to live up to the high price, but for videos, the smooth autofocus, extensive options and sublime quality are a winning combination. ...
