  • Abstract:  Despite the lack of a clean user-friendly GUI, and other minor downsides, it gives accurate directions and delivers satisfactory performance at a reasonable price. Voice command recognition, street name announcements, and audible assistance, and relatively light weight of 6.5 oz, are some of the best highlights of the Navigon 7200T. • Free lifetime traffic, Helpful lane navigation, Voice entry, Attractive design
  • Small POI database, 3D buildings not helpful for navigation, Street names on map hard to read
  • The $449 Navigon 7200T is a gorgeously designed unit that’s sure to enhance any dash. While we’d prefer more substance and less eye candy, it almost always performed as good as it looks. Buyers should also consider the Magellan Maestro 4350, w...

  • Abstract:  Short Version: We take a close look at four NAVIGON GPS units that are overpriced but still capable PND. Click on for a review of the 2000S, 2200T, 7200T and 8100T personal navigation devices. Overview Judging by these NAVIGON units, the company is a b...

  • I was skeptical when I first got the Navigon. They aren’t as established a name as Garmin or Tom-Tom, and the first time I used the 7200T it froze and I wound up seeing more of Wisconsin than I’d planned. However, I never had another problem w...

  • The Navigon 7200T offers address entry via voice and 3D renderings of major landmarks. The GPS also features text-to-speech functionality, advanced lane assistance, and integrated Bluetooth.
  • The 7200Ts voice command system is limited to address entry and requires some training. The user interface isnt as simple as a Garmin or TomTom unit.
  • Though the Navigon 7200T doesnt have cleanest user interface, the portable GPS offers plenty of advanced navigation features and accurate directions. Specifications: Destination: Automotive; Weight: 0.4 lbs; Audible assistance: Audible signal(s); See ...

  • Abstract:  The Navigon 7200T updates the Navigon 7100, adding 3-D buildings and a new interface. The 4.3" wide screen navigator comes loaded with maps of the U.S. and Canada, and has text-to-speech, so youll hear "in one mile, turn right onto Maple Street" inste...

  • Abstract:  Aug262008 Navigon continues to impress me. While I don’t think they will break into the number two spot in North America anytime soon, they are becoming a big force in their space. The Navigon 7200t builds on the older NAVIGON 7100, gets rid of a few ...

  • Slick design. Reality View Pro and Lane Assistant Pro. 3D Landmarks. On-route exit POI guide. Included lifetime traffic subscription.
  • Relatively expensive. Small POI database. Voice-entry feature is underwhelming.
  • The good-looking Navigon 7200T is loaded with features, but at almost twice the price of the impressive 2200T, its hardly a bargain....

  • Abstract:  With prices of basic standalone PNDs (Personal Navigation Devices) racing to the bottom, and increasing threats from navigation apps on mobile devices, what’s a company to do when they want to make a premium GPS device? If you’re Navigon, and the PND i...

  • Attractive interface and styling, Robust POI database, Very solid window mount, Quick, accurate GPS performance, Free traffic updates
  • Nonfunctional Bluetooth, Unintuitive destination entry, Poor speaker performance, Reality View Pro misleading, *
  • Navigon has made a valiant effort to produce a navigator that will roll with the big boys in the high-end category, but it falls well short of King of The Hill when compared to established competitors. We could give the 7200T more credit if it managed ...
