  • Abstract:  Playing Major League Baseball 2K11 feels reminiscent of days spent taking in a game at the local Minor League Ballpark. It delivers a sufficient level of baseball that are fun while they last, but much of what is on show comes across as equally unambit...

  • Career mode can be fun, but leveling up can also be addictive no matter what the game; hitting is vastly improved, and fielding, while still needing some help, is better too; baserunning, something almost no baseball game seems to get right, seems to be on the right path.
  • Gesture pitching. Ugh.; ridiculous bugs; horrible announcer AI; a lack of polish and care that is unparalleled in AAA sports titles.

  • Some tweaks to batting and pitching make for morerealistic atbats, Improved fielding with better animations and a new throwing meter, Dynamic player ratings let MLB Today fans stay current with the real bigs.

  • A number of small changes make MLB 2K11 better on the field than its predecessor, although the majority of the new game is identical to the old game....

  • Abstract:  2K Sports has had issues with their baseball game for a long time, especially in the past few years after Ben Brinkman's attempted total overhaul of the series was a disastrous failure. During this time, Major League Baseball 2K had played second fiddl...
