  • Abstract:  Ever since seeing irivers new range of MP3 players back at CES in January, weve been itching to get models to take home and use. Weve just been sent one of the first iriver E100 players in the UK and in many ways were extremely taken.

  • The Iriver E100 is packed with pretty much every feature in the book--photo and video playback, an FM radio, all recording capabilities, compatibility with both Windows and Mac, extensive audio file format support, bookmarking, microSD card expansion, ...
  • The Iriver E100 has a cheap, plastic feel, and the interface is very basic. The clickpad is not totally responsive, and some navigation is sluggish. D-Click navigation isnt optimal for the control pad setup. No integrated podcast support.
  • The Iriver E100 is a decent choice for people who want a ton of features in an easy-to-use package, but if youre after speedy navigation or top-notch sound quality, look elsewhere.

  • Slick design. microSD slot. Strong file support. FM radio and recording. Voice recording and line-in recording.
  • Photos and video dont look so great on the not-so-sharp screen. Uninspired user interface. Difficult navigation. Many settings and options are difficult to find.
  • iriver knows how to make good portable media players, like the venerable Clix and the Clix gen 2, so the E100 is a bit of a disappointment. It works—just not gracefully or intuitively....

  • The E100 will be iriver’s first player to be released in the US since the clix2, which I was very fond of. This player comes in 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB capacities in several different modern colors. Audio codec is supreme supporting all the major licensed...

  • Abstract:  The iriver E100 is a stylish digital audio player that ups the ante with native FLAC support, built-in stereo speakers, microSD card expansion slot, and line-in recording functions on top of the usual feature set many expect to find on modern DAPs. U...

  • Competitive price, Versatile media player
  • Unintuitive interface, Mediocre audio
  • The E100 handles lots of media types, but falls short in playback quality and usability.
