  • Not a bad box of tricks performance wise, and blessed with better-than-average file support and Micro SD storage expansion. But you really have to not mind your media being presented to you in two separate chunks. Its bad enough if youre using a 2 o...

  • Compatible with several audio and video formats, microSD Card slot
  • Finicky controls, Tight viewing angles, Plain design
  • Just by looking at the iriver E100’s expansive feature set—built-in stereo speakers, line-in recording, microSD Card slot, FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) support—it appears to be a compelling option for music fans. A wonky control pad...

  • Great audio playback, easy to use
  • Poor screen, plastic look to it
  • While not the most expensive of MP3 players, the E100 has a satisfactory screen for the price and a sound quality well above average

  • The Colorado River, Mic and linelevel input, MicroSD memory slot, OGG and FLAC support.
  • The Citarum River, Crappy display, problematic software, sloppy buttons.
  • Michael Brown iRiver’s new E100 digital media player offers a several terrific features, including a MicroSD memory slot, FLAC and OGG support, and the ability to record audio (there’s a built-in mic and a line-level input). Unfortunately...

  • Sound quality; price; simple operation; easy line-in recording; excellent internal microphone
  • Screen quality; video performance; navigation pad is unresponsive at times; microSD contents not imported into main library
  • The iRiver E100 is a nice player with excellent sound quality and a good price. We feel its still inferior to Creatives Zen or Apples iPod nano in terms of screen quality, but its painfully simple operation makes it a good choice for MP3 newbies or...

  • The iRiver E100 is packed with pretty much every feature in the book--photo and video playback, an FM radio, all recording capabilities, compatibility with both Windows and Mac, extensive audio file format support, bookmarking, microSD card expansion, ...
  • The iRiver E100 has a cheap, plastic feel, and the interface is very basic. The clickpad is not totally responsive, and some navigation is sluggish. D-Click navigation isnt optimal for the control pad setup. No integrated podcast support.
  • The iRiver E100 is a decent choice for people who want a ton of features in an easy-to-use package, but if youre after speedy navigation or top-notch sound quality, look elsewhere.
