  • Abstract:  Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, for many people including myself, is the real arrival of the PlayStation 3. Before now, I had a PS3, but I must confess I didn't use it very much. There were no really compelling exclusive games, and therefore there was just no mo...

  • Great graphics and physics engine. Retains the traditional Gran Turismo “feel”. New features like drifting are loads of fun. Full support for most steering wheels including H shifter and clutch.
  • Total lack of antialiasing detracts from the otherwise stunning 1080p graphics. Some odd bugs and flaws here and there, but these should be ironed out when the full game is released.

  • Measure yourself on a graph that shows ‘love of racing’ on the vertical by ‘impatience’ on the horizontal. If you place somewhere around the top-right, then give it a try. The rest of you, save your pennies for GT5 instead. Prologu...

  • Excellent driving, graphics; GT-TV.
  • Not a full game, lacks hundreds of vehicles and tens of racetracks, frustrating menu navigation and events. Lots of "in construction" traits.
  • For a full game, Prologue is lacking very highly. Yet for its lower price, the knowledge that it isnt the full game and is only a taste of whats to come, were left embittered and wanting more, better, and sooner.

  • Gran Turismo has always been a serious sim for serious racers, which has either turned off a large group of gamers or slowly converted them into hardcore racers. Prologue doesn’t stray from the sim formula – if anything it takes it new heights...

  • Abstract:  As I waited for Gran Turismo 5: Prologue to load onto the borrowed PS3, I couldn’t help thinking that the line between PC and console sure is getting blurry. As the lengthy installation was followed by a number of abortive (but eventually successful) a...
