  • The ECS P55H-A goes for around $120 after rebates. Newegg has it for $140 with free shipping and a $21 mail-in rebate. That’s not a shabby deal. It’s hard to knock the ECS P55H-A. Its bundle is nice, the layout is nice, and the performance isn’t bad. ...

  • Comparatively inexpensive P55 motherboard, ATI CrossFireX, well thought out layout, good performer, supports all socket 1156 processors, supports dual channel 1066/1333 MHz DDR3 RAM, debug LED, switches, consumes low power, eJiffy instant boot
  • No FireWire port, meager bundle
  • The Black Series ECS P55H-A did well in the tests and gave us a taste of what amazing power the new platform holds. It has got nifty features such as the debug LED, switches, a fair amount of overclocking and support for the latest processor and memory...

  • Obviously, the P55H-A from ECS does not target the overclocking enthusiast or someone looking for a motherboard with anything more than the bare minimum. Instead, ECS is looking to grab the budget conscious crowd and there's nothing wrong with that as...

  • Now that we've highlighted each board, I can now go against what I said and declare a winner. The winner, due to it catering to exactly what I enjoy, is the EVGA P55 FTW. I'll be holding on to all the boards in anticipation of the 32nm LGA1156 pro...

  • We'd like to thank our friends at ECS for providing the P55H-A for our review today. While we had difficulties performing moderate overclocking and some of our benchmarks, we did have an enjoyable experience using this board. Its feature set and be...
