  • Attractive design; ships formatted for Mac; bus-powered; capacity gauge.
  • Proprietary FireWire cable; no software bundle.
  • The My Passport Studio is no speed demon, but does offer decent capacity and performance in an attractive, slim design. Though I prefer a standard FireWire 400 port and cable over the drive’s mini FireWire 400 port and two-headed cable, the My P...

  • For $140, the drive is priced well... For a Mac product. It is a notebook type hard drive so it uses the power off of the USB drive as long as you use the included cable. If you have a Mac, this drive is ready out of the box for you and includes Firewi...

  • Speedy portable drive. Drive capacity indicator. Protected I/O ports. Both FireWire 400 and USB 2.0. Preformatted for Mac OS X. Works with Time Machine backup.
  • Capacity indicator requires utility installation. Mac OS X (10.4) Tiger users will need a separate backup utility.
  • If you were thinking of getting the WD My Passport Elite but have a Mac, get the My Passport Studio instead. It works better with Macs—particularly those running OS X Leopard—and has FireWire to boot (pun intended)....

  • Decent performance; bus-powered; capacity gauge works as port cover; Mac OS X-ready; cool and quiet during operation; five-year warranty; low cost per gigabyte.
  • No option for external power; no FireWire 800.
  • Whether you use a Mac or a PC, the 320GB Western Digital My Passport Studio is the perfect compact external drive with a low cost per GB, a compact design, decent performance, and a surprisingly lengthy warranty. Specifications: Compatibility: PC, Mac;...

  • Abstract:  The newest member of the My Passport family is equipped with both FireWire 400 and USB 2.0 interface, a very convenient feature. Not only is the drive well suited to the MacBook Air—with its paucity of hard drive storage—it also makes ...

  • Double interface, Préformaté pour Mac OS, Garantie de 5 ans
  • Rien

  • Small, compact, big storage
  • Status lights are pretty pointless, plastic case means not that durable
  • Perfect for Time Machine backups on the move or just saving files if you’re looking for storage for your Mac

  • Abstract:  The latest addition to Western Digitals portable line-up is directly targeted at Mac owners. Its silver cover and black edges complement the aesthetics of the iMac and professional models very well, and its lean, compact and light at 181g.
