  • Abstract:  A mixed bag of elements that are either very cool, frustrating or bland, Shaun White Snowboarding doesnt live up to the expectation of becoming the new snowboarding champion.

  • Attractive mountains and snow; tricking quite easy to learn and master; multiplayer offerings give it an adrenaline boost; snowball fights are fun.
  • Not much incentive to play singleplayer; weak collision detection; excitement of real snowboarding doesnt translate; some multiplayer events involve some waiting.

  • Abstract:  At the start of Shaun White Snowboarding, the game asks if you want to go through a tutorial. Choose the path of the uninitiated and blocks of text describing the controls pop-up onscreen as you speed down the mountain. That's all the help that you get...

  • Abstract:  Ubisoft wants to appeal to the Mountain Dew-infused part of your brain – should it actually exist. That one part of your head that still retains '90s-themed, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sayings like “cowabunga” and classifies events in two distinct, w...

  • Mountains are huge and look quite nice, Throwing snowballs at buddies is a welcome treat.
  • Platforming in a snowboarding game is an awful idea, No sense of speed, Focus meter depletes way too quickly, Only four mountains, three of which are fictitious, Crashes are lame.
  • Frustrating issues make Shaun White Snowboarding seem less like a downhill rush and more like an uphill grind. ...

  • Abstract:  Shaun White is a real person. He is famous for riding boards (of both the skate and snow variety) and winning medals in international competitions. The snowboarding game to which he has lent his name seems to take place in the real world, where gravity...

  • It’s good fun, even if it doesn’t feel quite as thrilling as we would have liked. With a little more tweaking of the controls and maybe a new approach to the genre à la Skate, this could have fared much better. 7.2/10Print this pageUser r...

  • Abstract:  Shaun White Snowboarding starts off with a tutorial that will have you pulling out your hair. As you progress down the gigantic frozen mountain, text will pop to provide advice on how to perform tricks and control your rider. While it would’ve been gre...
