  • If HD isn’t the next big thing, it already is the big thing. The 1080p videos that you shoot using this remarkably compact camcorder can be easily shared using a device like the WDTV Media Player. Believe me when I say the video is a quantum leap abo...

  • Abstract:  With an MSRP of just $499, the Samsung HMX-R10 represents a very good deal in the mid-range camcorder market. It has a compact design that is smaller than many similarly-priced camcorders and its set of features is extensive and impressive. The camcorde...

  • Touch Screen LCD, Small and Ergonomic Design, Full HD Recording Capabilities, HDMI output, Builtin Software
  • Proprietary USB cable, Not Great For Shaky Hands
  • Personally I am not a big fan of video (and not just because of my shaky hands), but I have enjoyed using the Samsung HMX-R10 camcorder to its full extent. If you are in the market for a compact, Full-HD camcorder, I do recommend taking a look at the ...

  • Compact, easy to use and with a menu that’s well labelled and a cinch to access via the touchscreen, Very impressive overall video performance at this price point; and the ability to shoot HD and SD footage is useful for increasing recording times...
  • A piddly 5x optical zoom on a camcorder like this is, dare we say it, almost criminal, Yes, the software is free, and is rather versatile, but it would still benefit from an interface tweak to make it more welcoming to new users.
  • Samsung is an ultra-competitive brand in the camcorder world and the R10 is equipped with a very good mix of features and functionality, plus it comes in at a cost-effective price. A couple of extra spec points and this would be scintillating, instead...

  • Great quality 1080 videos, 25 degree lens angle is an innovative idea to reduce wrist strain!, Some minor firmware and software improvements over past Samsung flash camcorders stand out, IntelliStudio builtin software, Photo quality is good and photo mode...
  • No proper lens cover!, No hand strap. This also made using the buttons on the back of the camera extremely hard without crossing my other hand over to operate them.
  • For a price cheaper than most competitors, the Samsung R10 has shown to be a solid 1080 high definition flash camcorder for under $500USD. Alongside the usual camcorder features found on most camcorders in this range, the R10 jumped out to me with...

  • Neat and compact, and blessed with the features to make movie recording fun ...
