Abstract: Another review has hit the net on the Mio C710 Digiwalker GPS System, and overall, give it a pretty balanced assessment. I reviewed the Mio C310, the little brother of the C710, earlier this year, and thought that the product was pretty good; the siz...
Built-in traffic receiver. Built-in DivX video player. Sensitive SiRFstarIII receiver. GPS antenna integrated into the case.
Cant play music and navigate at the same time. No pedestrian mode. Phone menu not available from within navigation program. Cant search POI database by name.

The Mio C710 lacks text-to-speech functionality and its list of compatible Bluetooth phones is limited. Also, the C710s screen was barely readable in sunlight and the device was sometimes sluggish when switching between apps.
The Mio C710 offers solid navigation and entertainment features in one sleek package, but its Bluetooth capabilities and screen need some work.
The Mio is a good GPS device let down by an interface that could be more intuitive and by the lack of TMC coverage providing sparse traffic data. The latter in particular would put me off this device. On the up side it works very speedily, the POI databas...
