  • Lots of character customisation, can look quite delightful
  • Horrible AI, poor control system, not that much to do and see
  • A fantastic idea, but so horrifically created that you’ll feel punch drunk if you splash out on this one...

  • Abstract:  There is something refreshing about a game that keeps things as simple as FaceBreaker. It's like a fighter who knows how to take a punch, knows how to hit hard, and cares about little else. EA Sports' latest offering FaceBreaker keeps it that simple. I...

  • Excellent create-a-boxer options, Stylised visuals
  • Bad, button-mashing gameplay, Cheap AI, Many frustrating ways to lose, Very few game modes, Feels more like a bad fighting game than a boxing game
  • FaceBreakers impressive boxer-customisation options are overshadowed by terrible gameplay. ...

  • Visually appealing. Pumping, upbeat soundtrack. The various game modes should keep you occupied for a few hours.
  • Lacks depth or replayability. Way too difficult to play, even on the easiest game mode.

  • Fast-paced boxing action has its moments and the character creation tools are surprisingly deep
  • Control scheme is iffy, gameplay has issues and the computer AI is uneven
  • It’s fun for a few quick rounds but it lacks the staying power to go the distance. ...

  • A colorful title with great-looking characters and well-implemented user-generated content.
  • Terribly flawed and unbalanced gameplay mechanics alongside brutally punishing AI make this a chore to play.
  • Theres no question that the sweet science has been awfully kind to EA. After four years of reigning as the king of boxing titles with the Fight Night series, the publisher has turned its eye to the dormant genre of arcade-style boxing. FaceBreaker, it...
