Another sturdy, wellbuilt keyboard from Das with an allnew aluminium top panel and matte finish that's easier to keep clean. Integrated hub supports USB 3.0. Characteristic clicky tactile feedback makes it a pleasure to type on (available with Cherry MX b
The dedicated media keys are a nice addition but some macro keys would have been even nicer. Lack of backlighting seems like an unfair omission for a $169 keyboard. No wrist rest option.

Incredibly durable, workhorse keyboard, Blue switches feel great
Where are the macros?, It sounds like a 1940s typewriter

Available with Cherry MX Blue, Brown switches. Includes dedicated hardware media, sleep controls. Sturdy construction. Integrated hub now supports USB 3.0.
Expensive. No onboard audio ports. Inconvenient footbar for angling up keyboard
A superb typing experience and excellent new features characterize the mechanical Das Keyboard 4, but those benefits don't come cheap....
Abstract: The DAS Keyboard was graciously sent to me to review over the past several weeks and I must say, it is a flashback to the old keyboards we all once used. DAS Keyboard sells 3 models of their signature super-clicky keyboards: Original Professional, M...
Goldplated mechanical switches under the keys make a nice oldschool clatter. Fire up a cigar and pour a stiff drink — you'll be pounding out emails like Hemingway in no time. Recognizes up to six keys pressed simultaneously for your sick Warcraf...
No more typing on the sly while on conference calls. Zero ergonomic features.
The question, then, is whether the Das Keyboard Professional is worth the $129 price tag, since you can get a brand new Unicomp buckling spring keyboard for $69 and a vintage Model M for as little as ~$30 on eBay. Frankly, Im a little torn. The Das Ke...
Very nice to type on, USB ports easily accessible on site, Clicky keys that provide tactile and audible feedback
Expensive, Glossy finish picks up dust and fingerprints very easily
If you type a lot you deserve a keyboard such as this one, many people don’t consider keyboards something of importance when it comes to their computer and they figure any old keyboard will do, but once you have the chance to use a true quality keyb...
