  • The O2 is very much a game of two halves. Format and codec support is superb and itll play pretty much any resolution video file you throw at it. The sound quality is excellent if a little on the quiet side, it is Biblically straightforward to use, a...

  • Abstract:  Overall the O2 is a tidy package that offers excellent audio with an impressive degree of format support and control. Despite the rather basic design of the chassis it should provide some healthy competition for the other PMPs currently doing the roun...

  • Here we have Cowon’s newest flash-memory based PMP which certainly evokes comparisons to a hypothetical “D3”, a successor of the Cowon D2 (at least in theory). It has the same basic design (yet bigger), a touch screen interface, and an SDHC slot. Ho...

  • The Cowon O2 is a strong and versatile PMP with excellent file format support. It's short of advanced features and the GUI could do with some work, but if you have a large digital media library that you'd like to take on the move, it's a very good option....

  • Supports a multitude of photo, music, and video formats, Exceptional audio and video quality
  • Chunky form factor; no Wi-Fi support, Doesn’t support VOB and QuickTime files, Can’t play encrypted audio or video tracks, *
  • The O2 is a very good digital media player, but it won’t meet everyone’s needs. It delivers fantastic sound, but it’s totally inappropriate for someone with a Rhapsody or Napster “to go” plan, for instance. And while ...

  • Superb audio quality and out put, Plenty of video codecs and format support, Easy to navigate interface, Plenty of audio enhancement options, Has an on-board scientific calculator and notepad
  • No FM radio, No AV out cable included, A little pricey
  • VideoWith support for AVI, WMV, MP4, MKV, OGM, MPEG, DAT and MTV formats watching videos is a copy-paste job and with USB 2.0 speeds, it won’t take too long either. Since the drives are formatted to FAT32, you wont be able to copy an HD video - thou...

  • Excellent file support. Large display. Voice recorder. Comparatively affordable.
  • Despite its large size, the player has no hard drive, only flash memory. No Internet access. Touch screen requires stylus. Few extra features.
  • The O2s file support is fantastic, and it is cheaper than its two main competitors, the iPod touch and the Archos 5—but it packs far fewer features into its inexplicably large frame....
